L2 Fallout: Connecting

Following is instructions regarding how to connect to and play L2 Fallout.

Step 1: First, download & install the Lineage 2 Gracia Final Client at the following URL: http://www.lineage2.com/pds/pds_client.html

Step 2: Please use the Lineage 2 auto-updater that came with the installer to update to the latest version of Lineage 2. To do this simply open up the Lineage 2 launcher either from your start menu, desktop or from the folder to which you installed the game. (Typically: C:\Program Files\Lineage II)

Step 3: Please reboot/restart your computer.

Step 4: Download the file located at the following URL: http://files.filefront.com/L2zip/;13868273;/fileinfo.html

Step 5: Move/extract the contents of this Zip file to the following location: C:\Program Files\Lineage II\system

Step 6: Click on the Start button and go to Run. In the Run window paste the following: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc ...and click on the OK button. When prompted, open the file in question using the program/application called Notepad.

Step 7: Now that you've opened your hosts file you will want to copy and paste the following underneath where it says "127.0.0.1":

216.107.250.194 nprotect.lineage2.com

Step 8: Open the file named L2.exe that you downloaded to start playing L2 Fallout. Accounts are auto-create.
