We haven't experienced any sort of problem pertaining to the use of polearms. Please elaborate on what problem you have exactly.

Just polearms on gracia final are stupid, when you take more than 2 monsters on you they split, making polearm unable to hit all.
However warlords are the only class that can(hard but can)use polearms effectivly

it was meant to allow dwarves hit multiple enemies with polearms... Spoil festival+Pole=mats for server
